Brainerd Web DesignBy Sean Swanson

Work

Everything here was designed and coded by me.

No outsourcing, no account managers, no template library. Some of these are client projects and some are complete builds I made to demonstrate the work. Each one says which, because a portfolio that blurs that line is not worth much.

Client work

Be Bold Balloons

A local events and balloon decor business. Built, launched and handed over, with the owner editing it herself afterwards.

What an absolute pleasure to have my website done. It was fast, easy, efficient and cost effective. Sean was always right on top of things and replied to my questions almost immediately. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in this type of service. 5 stars for sure.

Builds you can open

Six complete sites, start to finish

Every screenshot below is the real site, taken from the live address. Open any of them, click through, and read how it was built and what it cost me to learn.

The Ridge North Roofing homepage: a bold Good roofs. No guesswork. headline, an orange assessment panel, and residential roof photography
Complete build

Ridge North Roofing, a trade site set in the lakes area

Read this one if you are a trade. It opens with the three ways a homeowner actually turns up, leaking, ageing, storm, instead of a list of services, and the form accepts “I do not know” instead of demanding a measurement.

The Halcyon Yoga homepage: large serif type reading A quiet room, small classes, and a teacher who has been at this a long time, beside a warm photograph of a sunlit studio corner
Complete build

Halcyon Yoga, a studio that takes bookings

Twenty-one pages built backwards from one measurable job: get a stranger booked into their first class. If your business sells time rather than things, a salon, a chiropractor, a groomer, a trainer, this is the one to read.

ZedePool Comics homepage: navy hero, yellow Follow on Whatnot button, wolf logo with a POW! callout
Client site, live

ZedePool Comics, a comic seller on Whatnot

A findable home base for a seller whose shop lives on a platform that does not show up in search. One page, a custom wolf logo with an animated sting, and every search signal the Whatnot profile cannot send. Everything on the page points at one button: follow the show.

The HydroPeak homepage: a dark blue hero reading The dirt isn't permanent, over a photo of a technician soft washing a house
Demonstration build

HydroPeak, a pressure washing company

The closest thing here to what a Brainerd trade business actually hires me for. Eighteen pages covering every service crossed with every service area, drag-to-compare before and after photos, and a three step quote form. The company is invented and I say so on the site.

The Solene Estate homepage: cream serif type reading Slow hills, long light, honest wine, over a dark photograph of two glasses of red wine being poured
Demonstration build

Solene Estate, a family winery

A six page site for a business people visit in person: the product range, an about page, hours and directions, a journal and a booking enquiry. If you run a shop, a taproom or a studio in town, this is the shape your site probably wants.

The Nocturne homepage: a soft peach and lilac gradient behind large serif type reading We build the things people remember, the last word in orange italic
Concept piece

Nocturne, built to show the ceiling

Not a client project and not pretending to be. Nocturne is a studio site I built to push the detail further than most small business sites need, so you can see the craft that sits underneath the ones that do not.

Software I built

The tool behind the logos

Not a website. When a logo and a brand kit are part of a quote, this is what I do them with.

BrandForge gallery: eight logo variants of a sample mark with vectorize, remove background, variants and export actions, and the Claude brand assistant docked on the right
Desktop app, in use

BrandForge, custom branding software

A Claude-driven brand designer over six image models that turns a business brief into a logo, then builds the complete brand kit in one click: logo variants, favicons, social sizes, card and letterhead, palette files and a guidelines page. Runs on my own machine with my own keys.

Why demonstration builds instead of a wall of logos

Because I would rather show you a complete, working, honest example than a screenshot of a homepage I touched once. Every build on this page can be opened, clicked through and read. Several of them have the code published so you can check my work rather than take my word for it.

When a client site launches and the owner is happy for me to name them, it goes up here with their name on it. That is why this page is short and truthful rather than long and vague.
